We’re offering a large double room in our quiet, cosy ground-floor Victorian flat (semi-detached house split into two properties), located on the North Leyton / South Walthamstow border.

• Original features: cornices, ceiling rose, pine floorboards & Art Nouveau fireplace
• Large windows overlooking a beautiful garden
• Wardrobe & desk included (non-replaceable)
• Bed & mattress can be provided if needed

• No communal living room (our bedroom doubles as our living/studio space, but we’re happy to share the sofa for films etc)
• Large, bright kitchen (no microwave by choice!)
• Recently refurbished bathroom (final tiles still to be finished)
• Huge private garden – perfect for relaxing, growing plants, yoga etc
• Secure side access for bikes + Ring doorbell

Very quiet street, no through traffic, friendly neighbours, semi-detached so minimal noise.

🐾 About Us (Important!)

We’re a married couple working in hospitality (chef + part-time dance movement psychotherapy student). We live a chill, food-loving, creative life — not party people.

We share our home with:
• 1 Staffy dog (Dot) – very loving
• 2 rescue cats (one indoor, one kitchen/garden)

Pets are family, so you must be genuinely comfortable living with animals.

• Single occupant only (no couples, no frequent overnight guests)

We’d love someone we genuinely get on with — happy to share a meal sometimes but also comfortable doing your own thing.

• £1000 deposit + 1 month upfront
• Lodger agreement
