The other tenants are all aged from their late twenties to early thirties. The ideal flatmate would enjoy flat meals, the odd night out and would like to live in a clean & tidy flat, that's home not just a flatshare. ("We really want to live with people who don't spend all of their time in their rooms hardly speaking!") 12 months minimum stay. A government 'Right to rent' check, affordability check, references including a previous landlord reference and a credit check is required (Registering to vote at your current address may help your credit check - to register online in 5 minutes google 'Register to vote', now!)
Room 1 is large at 3.66m by 3.53m. The house features superfast broadband, two bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen, a large fridge and a large freezer. Each bedroom has a bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
Tenants have fairly normal schedules as we work 9 am to 5 pm. They like films, dancing, and good food, and we are all friendly. They don't tend to be at home all the time but enjoy staying in when they do.
The other four flatmates are guys in their mid twenties to thirties. The number of occupants is limited to 5 so it's not currently possible to accommodate a couple.
It's 5 mins walk to Leyton tube station, which is on the central line, and 10 mins walk to Leytonstone High Rd overground. Also within a 10-minute bus ride is Stratford, so good connections for central London. 35 mins to central London. 10 mins bus ride to Hackney central or Walthamstow Central. Also, it's on the N8, N205 & N26 night buses routes, and the central line runs overnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
If you cycle, it is in a great place - just close enough to everything, but far enough away for a good ride.
In the local area:
* Good on-street parking.
* Coronation Gardens and Sidmouth Park are within 10 minutes walk.
* The Olympic Park and Epping Forest are within 15 minutes.
* A huge 24 hr Asda 5 mins away and a Tesco supermarket in the area. A 24hr shop 10 mins away.
* Westfield Stratford shopping centre is 10 mins away.
* 2 gyms. One of which is £30.00per month! :-)
