Description

[edit - we have enough visits scheduled for now and will not be accepting new applications for the time being]
Myself, 31 and Lukas, 28 are both looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a home with us! The bedroom is a small double, furnished with a bed and mattress, wardrobe and shelves.

The small size of the room makes up with under bed and communal storage, plus amazing shared spaces: from the spacious and cozy lounge, you can access a large private terrace but also a huge communal roof top balcony on our 6th floor (no need to go up!). Lots of sunlight, views of East London from your bedroom, the Shard from our terrace and all of London from Central to the City and Canary Wharf on the roof top balcony.

We like cooking, art, music, cinema, cycling and travelling (I do quite a lot as my partner lives in Paris). We are outgoing on weekends but more chilled during weekdays, when we love to have dinners and watch TV. We also host the occasional party at home!
Lukas and I work respectively in Business Development (based in Tower Bridge) and Digital Marketing (based in Soho), I tend to go to the office 3-5x/week, working remotely from the living room the rest of the time where we can comfortably be 2 people working.

If you like nature, we are located right by Regent's Canal and close to the Limehouse Basin, perfect for jogs or walks.

I've lived here for 8 years now, what I love apart from the outside spaces/city views is how convenient it is to get places: buses at 1min walk are 4 bus lines + a night bus for Central London or City/Shoreditch, 2 lines to Canary Wharf, or you are 4 min walk away from Limehouse DLR (gets to Bank Station in 6 min ride), or a 7 min walk to Burdett Rd for 3 lines to Mile end / Victoria Park / Hackney). There's a small Tesco by the station, or a cheap Lidl around 7min walk. Some cute cafes in the area (Yurt café), amazing riverside pubs (Ian McKellen’s The Grapes, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, Craft Beer Co. etc), the neighbourhood is quiet and residential but we did throw occasional parties without problems.

It’s a recent build so it's well insulated (temperature and noise).
Amenities include a dishwasher and washing machine, super-fast fibre WiFi, good water pressure in the shower, and lots of natural light in the flat.

We are looking for someone who is respectful of others, clean, tidy, but also brings their own personality to the flat and is keen to share some moments together. We have a cleaning schedule rota to cover the big stuff (outside of the usual cleaning up after ourselves).

Bonus, we get along really well with our neighbours, have drinks or dinners together and cat sit for them from time to time.

Please message me for viewings arranged with the soon-to-be-leaving flatmate or myself/Lukas. Mainly available for visits from w/c 7th August in the weekdays evenings or weekends daytime x
