A well-connected, spacious en suite bedroom is coming available from 1 October in Limehouse, because my current flatmate is moving in with his sister. There is some flexibility in terms of moving your belongings in earlier, but rent would be due from 1 Oct. Viewing will be ideally on w/c 26 Aug.
The flat is located in a gated community. There is an internal garden and a small house gym. The bedroom comes unfurnished except for a mattress, there is opportunity to buy a bedframe and a writing desk. The flat consists of a good-sized living room and kitchen, a balcony, and two bedrooms. Heating is electric. Bills and council tax comes to about £170/month. Flat is Council Tax band F. There is secure parking available if required.
The flat is in a quiet street about 100 metres from the Thames. It is located next to Limehouse Basin, 5 minutes walk from Limehouse DLR. Canary Wharf is 20 minutes walking, and the City is about 25-30 mins on the tube. CS3 runs close to the house, and the City is about 20 mins cycling. There is a Tesco and a Lidl in walking distance, along with local amenities, such as multiple gyms, restaurants, and pubs..
About myself: I am 30 years old. I work in consulting, wfh once or twice a week. Outside work, I enjoy sports (weightlifting, cycling), literature, hiking, and going to music shows. I am relatively new to London and spend a bit of my time trying to get to know the city better.
I am looking for a flatmate to spend some time with, but also to have our own space. You should be either a professional or a postgraduate student. There is ample space to wfh if you need to. The flat is in a quiet neighbourhood, so hosting parties is not really feasible, but you are more than welcome to have people over. I would ideally like to have a cleaning rota for the communal areas.
