Hello! I'm looking for a housemate in my 2-bed flat in Limehouse, E14, zone 2. My name is Anna; I live between Glasgow and London having recently got a job in Scotland, and spend 3-10 nights in London per month when I come back to freelance. I'm looking for somebody who'll take good care of my flat while I'm not there and who's easygoing - while hopefully enjoying having a flat mostly to themselves at well below market rate :)
Closest station is a 7-10 minute walk to Westferry DLR, but Limehouse c2c and DLR are also nearby, and I'm just under 20 minutes' walk to Canary Wharf Elizabeth line.
It's a two-bed flat - the room going is the master bedroom on the ground floor, with lots of cupboard storage (not pictured but will add a photo soon - there's two large wardrobes). There are regular night buses all night and most places in town take half an hour or 45 minutes to reach; it's a really central place to live.
The local area is nice, the flat is really close to the canal and Canary Wharf is a twenty minute walk away with lots of cafes and shops - but there are also a couple of nice cafes and restaurants closer by.
I'm a professional musician (French Horn) and do practise at home on the days when I'm there (promise I'm good). I'm sociable and friendly, and enjoy cooking and chatting as well as making the most of what London has to offer - I would love to have a flatmate I get on with when I'm in the flat too. Couples are welcome as long as you're happy sharing the space on the days I'm back, but I've found this to be OK with previous flatmates.
Unfortunately because of the terms of the lease the flat isn't pet friendly. Would also appreciate a non-student for council tax purposes. The flat is band D for council tax (c£140/month, so just over £70 each). I'm happy to include all other bills.
The room is available from January 26th but with a week or so's flexibility later than that for the right person, or a few days earlier if that helps - message me to discuss.
