Single bed with decently sized bedroom and plenty of storage space available in Limehouse, E14. This flat was absolutely ideal for me and I'm sad to move out early, but due to unfortunate personal/family circumstances I have to relocate to Norwich before the end of my contract.
Rent is £758 a month and this includes all bills + a cleaner who visits once a week to clean all communal areas and take out the bins, which is great for those busy working and limited on spare time. The cabinet shown in the pictures is vintage (Edwardian), and although not originally included in the rent I'd be happy to include it for free as I'm limited on the amount of stuff I can move out with me.
Conveniently located minutes away from both Limehouse and Westferry DLR stations which allows access to the whole of the rest of London via changing at Bank, which is less than a 10 min train ride away. Also allows easy access to south London via very frequent trains to Lewisham. Also about a 10 minute walk from Canary Wharf via Westferry Circus and a 20 minute walk from Whitechapel and central London's east end. The Regents Canal foot/bike path can also be accessed very easily by walking about 5 minutes up the road, which is great for weekends off to explore Broadway Market and Hackney. Buses to vibrant Bethnal Green and Hackney, as well as to Liverpool Street, run very frequently from stops less than 5 mins away.
Other tenants are clean, friendly, respectable and quiet. Languages spoken in the household include English, Greek and Italian. Even though the household is sociable and friendly, everyone also lives their own lives and are very considerate of others space and time needs. Perfect if you're a busy professional or a student looking for cheap rent and a peaceful location with easy access to the rest of the city.
There is also access to a communal balcony just outside the spacious kitchen. There is no living room, but there is a TV in the kitchen and lots of room to socialise and relax. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and bath and the other just with a toilet. Because everyone has quite different working schedules there is never a struggle to access these spaces when trying to get ready in the morning. Available from 1st of December but this can be made earlier or later, within limits, if possible so just message to enquire about anything.
