Hi, my lovely flatmate Pierre is sadly moving back to France, and we're looking for a new person to welcome in.
looking for a respectful, tidy flatmate (late 20s-early 30s, any gender) to share this two-bed flat overlooking the canal in Limehouse. The flat has a relaxed, grown-up vibe and I'm keen to keep it that way.
The room: 🛏️
- Double bedroom with your own bathroom
- Access to a sunny balcony (shared)
- Gets lovely natural light
- Some furniture currently in the room belongs to my flatmate and he's happy to sell it to you if you'd like, or you can start with a blank canvas. Bed, wardrobe and small bedside table included.
The flat: 🏡
- Canal views with a brilliant atmosphere
- Well-connected to Limehouse DLR and walkable to Canary Wharf
- Grocery shops nearby
- Furnished communal areas (my current flatmate is taking some bits, so if you have furniture that's great, but not essential)
About me:
I'm a graphic designer and dance teacher, so I'm out and about most days and travel quite frequently. I'm into fitness, good food, and the occasional movie or anime binge night at home – basically someone who enjoys life but also values downtime at the flat.
About you:
You're someone who keeps shared spaces clean without needing reminders – no dishes in the sink, that sort of thing. If you're looking to treat home as your space to relax and recharge rather than a regular hosting spot, this would be ideal for you. Friends and family dinners are welcome, but I'm looking for someone who isn't hosting multiple times a week or has their partner around constantly. It's about balance and keeping the flat feeling calm for both of us.
Essentially: you value your own space, respect mine, and we're both grown-ups who communicate well.
Not suitable for:
Couples, or anyone who has their partner over several times a week.
Tenancy details:
- The flat is managed through an agency, and I'm the principal tenant. The contract renews in April, and that's where we'd likely renew it for another year.
- All bills and internet is excluded and is share between us, think about approx £160/200 to cover those.
Move-in date: no later than 11th February.
Viewings: we will host viewing on designated days and will try to get through all the messages as quick as we can.
