Love cats and want spacious room in Notting Hill?

Looking for friendly, cat-loving housemate for a short stay in a neighbourhood close to Notting Hill and the idyllic Maida Vale canal.

Renting out my spacious double bedroom while I'm away in Korea for work.

IMPORTANT: I leave my two cats so the right person must be happy with helping to feed them. The Good news is they handle their business outside so 0% need for litter changes!

THE AREA:
I live in the W9 postcode area, which is honestly one of the most convenient locations to be based in London for a little bit of everything.

Things I love to do in the area include:
- strolling along the canal,
- visiting Golborne Road for the antique market and fresh Portugese pastries,
- admiring the colorful houses in Portobello Road,
- cycling round South Kensington Gardens or one of the other lovely parks nearby.

Convenience stores across the road open till late so there is always access to essentials and food. Plus you can visit the laidback Vale Cafe and the stylish Rug Cafe for a treat.

There are great transport links into Central London - with three tube stations just a short walk away (Royal Oak, Westbourne Park, and Warwick Avenue), Paddington station nearby for the Elizabeth line, and two bus stops in front of the complex with frequently running buses means you can depart or return conveniently.

THE BUILDING :
My building is in a 24/7 secure complex with a beautiful communal garden that gets updated with seasonal flowers, has a fountain, and a private area by the famous canal.

We have a parking space if you drive, and you are welcome to use my bike while I am away.

THE FLAT:
The shared living room has the comfy couch, dining table, and access to the kitchen. Large window doors let the natural light flood in and lead you out to the patio. We have a Samsung TV set up with Netflix and Amazon Prime that you're welcome to use anytime.

We have all the essential household amenities like washing machine, induction cooker, oven, microwave etc. If there's anything specific you require, just message me to check. There is a Nespresso coffee machine you are very welcome to use too!

THE ROOM:
The room you will be staying in has its own private bathroom with shower, a queen-size bed, a desk, large sliding wardrobe and dresser unit - ample storage space for your clothes.

Large window doors lead out to the patio where you can catch some sun on one of the loungers or access the private resident's garden to sit by the canal - perfect for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning.

YOUR HOUSEMATE:
My cousin, a neat and friendly student from the US, will be staying in the flat in her own room. She is very friendly and is around to help you get settled + show you around! Of course she will respect your privacy if you are the introvert type like me :)

THE CATS:
Zuri and Taro are two adorable and adventurous cat brothers that live in the flat. They are very independent and spend most of their time outdoors, so all that's needed is to top up their food and water bowl twice a day.

I have cat food timer bowls so if you can't be there physically to feed them, just set them up before you head out - easy.

As mentioned, no litter changes needed.
