THE OFFER
As our dear flatmate is relocating back home, we are looking for a new addition to our 3BR flat at the City's doorsteps on a renewed contract from late December/early January.
THE FLAT
The flat is centrally located in Finsbury Square, so if you work in the Square Mile, you can sleep in a bit more :). The area is commercial enough to be tranquil on weekends, but the buzz and food heaven of Shoreditch/Spitalfields is only a 5-minute walk away, as are Moorgate, Old Street, and Liverpool Street stations. Options for eat-in people include Tesco (just across the street), Sainsbury's, Waitrose, M&S, Aldi, and Co-op.
THE ROOM
The flat was originally listed as a 2BR with a living room, but the nice landlord agreed to make the living room a third bedroom. The available room will be the master en-suite bedroom, the largest in the flat. It may come furnished, with items in the pictures up for sale by the departing flatmate. Large windows open into the green views of the HAC grounds, with car shows, football tournaments, and semi-pro fireworks on occasional display.
The ideal tenant would be a single working professional who's looking to stay long-term.
EXPENSES
- £1,230 for rent, *subject to renewal revision by the landlord when swapping tenants.*
- Separate bills (Islington council tax band G, Octopus power & gas, Virgin Media broadband) are around £180pm each.
THE FLATMATES
Jordan (aka Chair of Flat Social Committee) & Thinh. We are both working professionals (in software dev & finance). We are generally busy during the week and keep to ourselves, but often do flat lunch/dinners on weekends. However, this is not a party house, but a cosy home. Our partners sometimes visit during weekends too.
