A bit about the Flat: Although technically a flat, the space is spread out over three floors, feeling much more like a house than a flat. Cleanliness and having a friendly, welcoming environment is key for us, and while we enjoy socialising we aren’t partiers and we want someone who is likeminded to live with us.
About the space: On the ground floor of the flat, there is a spare toilet and good sized kitchen with all mod cons including a dishwasher. There is also a separate washing machine and drier on this level. On the next floor, there is one bedroom , shower room, and a large bright lounge which opens out on to a large private terrace. There is a bathroom and three further rooms on the top floor including the room for let.
Details of the Room: Recently refurbished, we have a double room, with double bed and wardrobe . Unfortunately the room is not available to couples and pets are not allowed. The property is non-smoking. The pictures show the refurbished room.
Location: The flat is in a small, friendly, low rise ex-local authority building, in a fantastic spot close to Tower Bridge. It is within walking distance of London Bridge, Tower Hill and Tower Gateway stations. In addition there are various bus stops outside our block which run frequently throughout the day and night. Bus routes include the 188, 381, 42, 47, 78, RVI and 343 services.
There are also several bars and restaurants in the immediately vicinity and the very popular Maltby Street Market is just across the road.
If you have any questions or are interested in coming by to see the property, do get in touch. All communication via spare room is with the live out landlord.
First viewings will be virtual with a short list coming for a second in-person viewing afterwards.
Unfortunately, we aren’t taking in couples for the room, or pets. Professionals preferred and we won’t be showing the room to anyone who can only do a virtual viewing as we want to make sure the prospective tenants have been through the flat before agreeing anything.
