Description
Hi all,
I have the master ensuite room coming up in my 2 bed, 2 bath apartment in London Bridge from November 1st as my current flat mate is sadly moving further afield.
The flat is a modern furnished apartment in the Arc House building with a large living room, sunny morning balcony with an allocated car park in the underground parking.
The flat is super nice and spacious with all the usual mod cons, central and underfloor heating, laundry, storage, full sized fridge, dishwasher, locked bike storage in the building, great water pressure etc.
The main bedroom up for grabs with the ensuite. It's large and bright with built-in wardrobes.
Included with the room (pictured):
1 x Double bed + frame
2 x Bedside tables
1 x Dresser/drawers with lift up mirror top
We are right above Maltby Street Market, next to the beer mile and 3 min walk to the super cute Bermondsey Street. With a million amazing restaurants and bars in the area and just 4 mins to the Thames for river side strolls.
- 7 mins walk to London Bridge station
- 25 min walk into Shoreditch
- Tonnes of buses to all parts right by the flat and at LB
- 3 mins to Bermondsey Street
- 10 mins to Borough market
- 4 mins to Tower Bridge
The rent is £1,325 each excluding bills. Rest of the bills are approx below. Roughly £125-£150 a month in total. The rent is split equally by the rooms as whilst I don't have the ensuite my room is larger.
£89 each Council Tax
£20 each for Internet - Crazy fast broadband (500+ mbps up and down)
£140 each per quarter approx for water
£50-150 each per quarter approx usually for gas/elec - the flat is super warm in winter so we barely use the heating so no huge surprises post winter.
We currently rent out our carpark so this brings bills down by £120 per month or if you have a car and want the car space full time we can discuss adjusting the rent split to include the carpark.
The flat is mostly furnished so has the majority of what you need already! What you see is what you'll get living room/decor wise. The only main thing going with my current flat mate is the TV in living room :( So if you have a TV thats a win haha.
The lease renews mid April just to flag, last increase was only £50 and they're pretty reasonable.
About me, I'm 35, Australian/British and have been living in London for the last 14 years so it's well and truly home. I'm a live visuals producer so work on artist tours, video art installations and live shows. Love to travel and also travel for work so you may have the place to yourself quite a bit! Love all the usual things food, wine, adventuring about London, Netflix binges etc.
Open to anyone thats the right fit. LGBT friendly. It's not a major party house but don't mind dinner parties, drinks, pre drinks or whatever within reason. Don't mind if you smoke but keep it to the balcony. Looking for someone who wants a home and a great place to chill and unwind where visiting friends and family are welcome to crash.
I don't mind if you WFH full time but if you do it would be great if you could work mainly from your room to keep the living room/shared space free for personal use. I work from home 1-2 days per week from my room. Totally don't mind working on laptops in the living space at times but big perm set ups and/or lots of work calls would be great to keep to personal rooms.
We are technically not allowed pets, but could potentially turn a blind eye to small and clean furry friends.
Anyways would love to know a little bit about you when you respond! Let me know if you have any questions at all.
Will be starting viewings from Monday next week.
Thanks!
