Moden 2 Bed 2 Bath Flat In London Bridge

My flatmate is leaving at the end of July and I’m looking to fill her room ! The start date is 31st July and it’s a 12 month contract with the opportunity to renew at the end. If you want to leave the tenancy at any point though you just need to find someone to replace you and pay the £50 fee to change the name on the tenancy.

The monthly rent is £1,400 excluding bills except water which is included. Council tax is Band D (Southwark council). I’m renting the property through John D Wood and you will have to pass their referencing checks or have a guarantor. The deposit is a 5 weeks security deposit and 1 month’s rent which is protected via the Deposit Protection Scheme.

A bit about me....

My name’s Ashley and I’m a 27 year old female professional working in finance. I'm from London but studied languages at uni so have also lived abroad in Paris and Mexico City. I’m a sociable person who enjoys meeting new people and would enjoy hanging out with my flatmate, equally, I have my own group of friends in London so value my independence and time alone to recharge sometimes. I would prefer to live with someone likeminded.

I like to live in a clean and tidy space and have always had a biweekly cleaner in flat shares so would like to continue this.

I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, cooking, going to exhibitions (art, fashion, music etc.) and festivals/concerts. I work long hours and typically go to the office 5 days a week, because of this I'm looking to share with someone who spends more of their time in the office than WFH so that the bills are balanced.

As I work long hours & have a very active life in general, I like to come home to a quiet space during the week. I'm looking to share with a young female professional (mid 20s to late 30s) who’s chilled, clean and most importantly respectful.
