My housemate has bought her first home and will be moving out in November, leaving her room available for someone new to rent. 🏡
THE FLAT
The flat is a two-bed, one bath in a quiet gated courtyard, with access to three private gardens for residents. It has a spacious living room with a Juliet balcony, smart TV and two sofas. There is a separate kitchen facing out to the gardens with a dishwasher and dining table. There is plenty of storage space in the flat.
THE LOCATION
The flat is a five minute walk from London Bridge station for Tube, bus and train access. There is a Sainsbury’s, M&S and large Tesco within ten minutes’ walk of the flat.
It is a short walk to get to the riverfront, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Maltby Market and Borough Market. It is just off Bermondsey Street, where you can find independent shops and restaurants. We also have a cute bookshop nearby that turns into a jazz bar. 📚
THE ROOM
The room has a garden view and comes with a double bed and wardrobe, as well as a large hallway storage cupboard opposite the bedroom that would be just yours. There is space to add a desk setup.
THE HOUSE-SHARE
You will be sharing with me, a 26 year old working in finance. I’m a friendly housemate and I always enjoy cooking dinner with the people I live with, watching movies and going out to explore London. My hobbies include hiking, baking, yoga and trying out new restaurants! I would like to find someone sociable, clean and reliable who can help make the flat a nice environment to share. 😊
THE ADMIN
The rent for the room is £1300. Bills for each person come to around £104 for council tax, £21 for water, £18 for internet and £26 for energy.
The flat is managed by an estate agent but we also have the contact details of the landlords. The contract is for 12 months, starting on November 11th 2024. You will need to pass a referencing check.
