Description
Hi, I’m Fareed.
I've been living solo in this 2-bed flat for 6 months, repeatedly telling myself I'd find a flatmate to reduce costs… but in truth, I've enjoyed the peace far too much to rush into it. Reality has now called, and it's time to find the right person.
About the room:
An *unfurnished* double bedroom is available. Please note that the photos and videos are from when the room had furniture. You'll need to source a bed; however, the landlord is open to buying it from you at the end of your tenancy. I also have a few furniture items I can give you, and I'm happy to journey to IKEA with you or help with furniture assembly. The flat includes a shared living room and kitchen.
Cleanliness:
There is one bathroom, so hygiene is essential. I'm clean and tidy (to the point that I don't even stand to use the toilet - out of principle, not fragility). If you walked through most of the flat, you might even question whether a man lives here, particularly given the amount of skincare products I seem to have accrued.
Lifestyle & personality:
I am a lawyer and a presenter, and I travel regularly and cycle through hobbies like personality arcs - currently, fashion and fitness; soon, perhaps music (I intend to pick up the guitar over winter, please bear with me).
Gym sessions or classes are absolutely on the table if you're open to it. I like food immensely, but I like not becoming obese even more.
For context: ENFP-A, if personality types matter to you.
Also, I talk a lot. If you enjoy conversation, excellent. If you do not, headphones exist but may not save you.
Who I’m looking for:
I do not *need* to live with anyone, so I'm prioritising compatibility over urgency. I value humour, curiosity, and someone who views life with a bit of imagination. If that sounds like you - let's chat.
No smoking or drugs. I rarely drink, but open to dinners, games nights, supporting you in social situations, or simply putting on the mask of charm and wit to impress your friends or family.
Alongside a dry sense of humour, I am relatively friendly, caring, and always up for a deep meaningful conversation. Picture a playful flatmate who occasionally defaults to amateur therapist.
Process:
We can text or call first, and then meet in person to see if the vibe is right for us both.
Council Tax Band: D
