Room to Rent: £810 Per Month

Available for six months from the 1st April 2026. An extension is unlikely as the landlord intends to sell the property in early 2027.

Viewings available from early March 2026 and it may be possible to move-in before April 2026.

Tenant Requirements:

- It is important that the new tenant is punctual with rent and bill payments. These are due on the 1st of each month. The rent is payable directly to the landlord and bills are payable directly to me.

- It is important that the new tenant contributes to the general cleanliness of the communal areas (hallways, living room, and kitchen). To make things easier, I have a RoboVac.

- Please don't apply if you like house parties and playing music loudly.

- Guests are welcome, but should be kept to a minimum unless they're a spouse, partner, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc. This is to keep disruption to a minimum and for security reasons.

Japanese religion scholar and art gallery assistant.

- One Female from Japan (32) (My wife)

Room Details:

Please note that the room shown is an old photo of another room, and not the room that's available due to scheduled cleaning (the previous tenant had to return to Thailand at short notice, and so I have to prepare the room myself). The available room is larger than the room in the image, and even larger with the small en-suite. Please also note that the communal area photos are slightly old, and so some of the decorative elements are no longer in the apartment as they belonged to a former tenant. We still have the same furniture though.
- The available room faces the Thames, providing the same view as the balcony (see photos), and a high degree of privacy. The door is also lockable, for peace of mind.

- You will have your own private en-suite with a shower, sink, and toilet.

- Large wardrobe.

- Desk, chair, and some other small furniture in the room.

- New bed covers needed (duvet, pillows, etc., can be replaced if desired).

Property Details:

- 1 Gb Superfast Fibre Broadband

- The kitchen has general amenities such as an oven, hob, washing machine/dryer, microwave, toaster, and bin.

- There is fridge and freezer space, as well as cupboards.

- The living room is furnished with sofas, and a dining table and chairs.

- Smokers are welcome, but smoking is only permitted on the balcony. This includes vaping. Cannabis and other narcotics are strictly forbidden in all areas.
Location:

The closest stations (DLR) are 'King George V' and 'Gallions Reach'. Both take 10 - 15 minutes to reach by foot.

The estate has two small convenience stores and 24-hour on-site security.

A car parking space is available, but may come with an additional fee.
