Description

Hello future housemate,

:) :) :) :) :P

We have an opening in our lovely home with 3 flatmates, now friends. We live in a amazingly quiet cul de sac on a road that branches off Brick Lane. The Jack the Ripper tour comes right past the end of our road...

The room is a small double room looking over the garden. It has furniture in it, which you can buy off the exiting flatmate for a small fee (a bed and wardrobe). There is also other storage and cubby holes around the rest of the house where those in the smaller rooms store things. The rest of the house includes a comfy living room, functional kitchen, conservatory (which is kitted out as a spare room for guests), 2 bathrooms and big garden with an impressive pumpkin and a wormery.

Our house is very much a home and we're looking for someone interested in being friends and joining in with activities/ trips out/ Sunday morning coffee+ debrief. We live fairly communally and like to eat together every now and again.

About us:
Rachel is always on the go, juggling hobbies like Aerial and Tag Ruby with a love of trying new things—currently obsessed with jewellery making and drumming. Festivals and outdoor getaways are her jam. By day, she’s an analyst at a wine company (yes, free wine included).

Lou is often in the garden exclaiming at things that have grown or faffing about on her accordion, talking about starting a house band. She is interested in politics and is in many local organising WhatsApp groups which she can't keep up with in summer because she's busy wild camping. She is a psychiatry trainee for work.

Kat is the creative one of the house. She like print making, crocheting and playing violin. She's often found listening to folk, doing yoga and making the house look nicer and more homely. She does a few different jobs but is interested in child counselling.

About you:
LGTBQ+ friendly, kind politics, feminist (no TERFs)
Please write a little bit about yourself in your message because we may get quite a lot.

Boring bits:
We keep things tidy on the whole but understand if you occasionally get smashed and leave the debris of a MacDonalds over the sofa. We don't have a cleaning rota but operate on a everyone-chip-in-how-they-do-best basis with a cleaner once a week to mop up the rest.
Rent includes bills, cleaner, who-gives-a-crap loo roll and a kitty for house bits and bobs (or a pub trip if we're under budget).

(We may get a lot of interest so to make sure you've read the whole thing, please start your message with the word guinea pig :) )
