Description
We’re looking for a considerate and friendly housemate to take a bright double room in a lovely, well-kept home. The house is light, spacious and calm, with a comfortable shared living area and a well-equipped kitchen — ideal for someone who enjoys a peaceful place to come back to after work.
The room is furnished, with good storage and plenty of natural light. The house is kept clean and cared for, and we’re keen to find someone who feels the same.
You’d be sharing with one housemate who is warm, respectful and values a relaxed, sociable but independent living environment. She is a teacher and an author, and has curated the house with beautiful artworks and other amazing little touches! The bookshelf is full of great books, but also has space for you to add your own collection!
The area is well connected with excellent transport links, local shops, cafés (absolutely amazing food from everywhere!) and green spaces nearby - including the incredible family owned Genesis cinema!
The building is historic - built in 1894! With a shared courtyard that has a lovely garden, communal clotheslines and a herb garden too!
We don't have a working freezer but we do have one if you want to plug it in!
We’re looking for someone tidy, reliable and easygoing — ideally a professional or postgraduate.
Available from mid January 2026.
Rent: £1000 pcm + bills (£150)
If this sounds like a good fit, please send a short message telling us a bit about yourself
