5 Floor Townhouse In the City to share with two!

Hi! I’m Bea, and I’m (sadly) moving out of my five-floor terraced house in the heart of the city on 1st March as I’m going travelling. I’m looking for someone to take over my contract and join this amazing home with Theo (27) and Lucia (28).

We’re looking for a replacement who wants to be part of the house long-term. This is very much a home, not just a flat share. Contractually, the minimum commitment is 3 months (1 March – 1 June), but we’re extending the lease with the landlord.

A bit about the housemates:

- Lucia works as a Project Manager near Liverpool Street. High energy girl, always cheerful. She’s an amazing artist, and you’ll see her going out most Thursdays and Saturdays.

- Theo works in Sales at a fintech company in Bank. Loves surfing and travelling and is a very thoughtful friend.

They both usually walk to work (a huge perk!) and occasionally work from home.


About the house:

We moved into this house because of the space - its honestly huge. It’s perfect for having people over and hobbies. There’s a huge living room and an even bigger kitchen/dining area with a guest bathroom.

Each of us has their own floor: a double bedroom with many windows and an en-suite bathroom. All rooms are equal in size: large doubles with built-in wardrobes. I got lucky with the top-floor room, which has slightly bigger wardrobes and extra privacy with its own landing. Loads of storage in the house for suitcases etc.

We love hosting dinner parties, drinks, and the occasional party (usually Halloween!). We also do things together outside the house: holidays, padel, galleries, events…. and it would be amazing to find someone who wants to be part of this little family.

The location is unbeatable: just seconds from Aldgate East station, with shops, pubs, and restaurants right on the doorstep. Aldgate, Liverpool Street, and Whitechapel stations are also all within 5/10 minutes walking distance. Super easy to reach Bethanal green, Brick Lane, Dalston, etc.

We’ll be doing interviews, as finding the right fit is really important to us. Rent: £1,425 pcm
Bills: approx. £150–£200 pcm
Cleaner: weekly, £17 pw (someone we’re very close with)
Deposit: 5 weeks rent

(You can tell which pictures are before moving in as the house looks empty - just for size reference).
Can also sell some of the furniture I have in my room to you if you want (bedside tables etc).
