2 rooms, friendly flat w garden- Bethnal Green E1

Looking for 2 flatmates for 2 rooms in dreamy East London home. £890 each w/o bills. Move in 22nd July- but can be flexible and sort out earlier move in!

My two best friends and I have been living in the most perfect 3-bed flat in Bethnal Green, but both are heading off to Europe for masters degrees, so I’m looking for two like-minded people to move into a homely house. I’m doing this alone because this flat is too good to let go! With its huge garden, upstairs/downstairs layout, porch, and cosy feel, it’s such a rare gem in London and I’d really love to stay here. Hopefully this can be a great opportunity for both/ all of us!

The flat is unbelievably well connected: the Central Line is basically on the road, Whitechapel Station (Elizabeth Line) is a 5-minute walk away, and Stepney Green is the same. We’re also right on the edge of Hackney, Brick Lane, Victoria Park, London Fields, Broadway Market, and Columbia Road Flower Market, all within a 10/15 minute walk! Despite being so central, the house still feels like a peaceful little bubble away from London chaos.

We’ve all loved living together for the last 3 years, especially in this flat over the past 12 months. It’s the kind of house where people naturally spend time together: watching TV, projector movie nights, trips to the local pub for pool, Sunday market walks, cooking together, going to an event together, sitting in the garden with a glass of wine, and the occasional BBQ. But, equally, everyone can have their own space too; it’s a normal, relaxed, friendly, house share.

- All bedrooms upstairs, which makes it feel really cosy and homey
- Spacious hallways both upstairs and downstairs
- Downstairs toilet as well as upstairs
- Full bathroom with shower/ bath

Your rooms:
Whether you’re buddied up or by yourself, the rooms going are quite similar. Both large double bedrooms with double beds and large windows. They both come with storage as well as built in wardrobes (big enough to stand in!). There is enough room to bring in desks if you want/ work from home.

A little about me:
I’m originally from Cornwall and moved to London 4 years ago for university. I’m currently job hunting for grad roles while working at the local pub (cheap pints and food for the flat!). I enjoy finding gigs and events, yapping but equally listening, using the local library, going to galleries, playing cards at the pub, a little bit of everything really. I love to be outside, whether in the garden for my morning coffee and journal, walking round Viccy park, or going further afield occasionally for walking, camping, or sea swimming. While trying not sounding like a CV, I am a genuinely friendly and respectful person to live with.

The timeline is unfortunately quite tight, I need to decide within the next 10 days whether to continue the lease or hand in our 2 months’ notice. Official move-in date would be 22nd July, but flexible if you’d need to move things in earlier.
