A few years ago, my best friend and I decided to buy a flat together and I couldn’t have hoped for a better co-owner and housemate. As life moves and grows, I’m looking for a female housemate to take over my room as I’m moving in with my partner.
About the other occupant:
She is Finnish and has been in London for 15 years. She works in charity events so although she’s generally 9-5 in the office, there are times she works from home and sometimes work events on weekends. She is friendly, tidy, and enjoys a club night out as much as a night on the sofa watching TV. She has a wicked sense of humour and makes me laugh daily. She runs and sometimes signs herself up for a half marathon.
About you:
You are a professional, friendly female who enjoys company but is respectful of privacy.
We are looking for someone open minded and super lovely. It is a fairly quiet house post 10pm weekdays, so it might not suit a night owl.
The property:
The 2 bedroom flat is off the road with a private parking space (which you can use as we don’t own a car) and communal gardens. The neighbours are friendly. Shared Living/dining room, kitchen bathroom and separate toilet.
The room is large and comes with a double bed, bedside table wardrobe rail and chest of drawers. Newly fitted wooden laminate floors.
Rent: £850 inc bills.
Bills include: Council tax, Water, electricity, internet, TV licence, Netflix,
The area:
The flat is close to Leyton Midland Road overground station with access to the victoria line from Walthamstow and a 10-15 minute walk to Leytonstone station (Central line).
Local off-licence less than a minute’s walk away.
Close to Francis Road (10 minutes walk) cafes, bars and shops
Leyton Midland Road (3 minutes walk) with new bars, breweries and restaurants in the railway arches.
Leytonstone High Road (15 mins walk), bars, pubs, restaurants, shops, Tesco Superstore, Aldi,
Walthamstow (10 minute bus or 2 minutes on overground) Shops, cinema, Walthamstow village
Leyton (10 minute bus or 20 minute walk) Bars, restaurants, Asda,
