Description
Hi! My current flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to take the second bedroom in our apartment at Coronation Square, a modern new-build (completed just 2 years ago) with landscaped gardens, a fitness center literally downstairs, multiple parks around, with more shops opening soon. The area has lots of young families with a nursery school on-site, and a night guard patrolling everyday.
Transport
• 25 mins to Liverpool Street
• ~30 mins to Canary Wharf
• ~10 mins to Stratford by tube (or ~7 mins by car/Uber)
Location & Green Spaces
We’re just a 5-minute walk from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where you can cycle, run, or try out all kinds of sports. You’ve also got tennis, volleyball, and pickleball courts at downstairs fitness center (membership required). If you’re after a more laid-back vibe, Victoria Park is about 15–20 minutes away, and Coronation Gardens is right across the road.
The flat
The apartment is only 2 years old, bright and modern, with all new appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen). You’ll love the lift and ground floor delivery locker. There are a huge balcony, plus a cloakroom for extra storage, really useful if you’ve got lots of clothes.
The room
Bathroom is not attached, but you’ll have the main bathroom to mostly for yourself. (Or if you want to take my room with an attached small bathroom, we can discuss). The room comes with a large closet. There’s no desk, so if you work from home you’ll need to bring one.
Bills
No agency fees. We rent direct from the landlord. Utilities are split fairly between us. (Around 200 quid for a month including tax and utilities)
Date
Lease tentatively starts from mid November, can discuss.
About me & what I’m looking for
I’m in my early 30s, a working professional, mostly in the office during the week. I’ve lived in five countries, so I’m used to meeting new people and making friends across different cultures. If you’ve spent time in places like Singapore, US, Germany, we’ll probably have some common ground to chat about.
I’m fairly social and would love to find someone I actually enjoy living with. My current flatmate and I had a great friendship, we’d work out together, have the occasional drink, or watch a movie at night, or even go on trips. I don’t mind if you have friends or a partner over once in a while, as long as we both respect each other’s space and boundaries.
If you’re interested, drop me a short intro about yourself, ideally with a link to your Instagram, LinkedIn, or any social media page. Happy to exchange mine after initial talk as well.
