We are renting a double bedroom in our big Victorian detached house which is less than 7 minutes a walk to Leyton Station.

We are south of Leyton tube station near (10 min walk) the East Village and (15 mins walk) Westfield Stratford. Hackney Wick and Victoria Park are both within 30 mins walk from the house.

The db bedroom is 3.35m x 2.77m and it is on the 1st floor of the house facing the back garden. It has a large window, decorative fireplace and comes either furnished or unfurnished. In addition to the room, you also have access to the shared study for up to 3 WFH days.

The house is spacious with a large living room and dining room, kitchen and breakfast nook, laundry room and downstairs toilet. The living room has a working log burner for cozy winter evenings in. There is a 1st floor bathroom with a bath, sink and loo. IWe have a lovely garden and a shed which we use for storing bikes and gardening utensils. The house is detached and we have side return access to the garden.

***COST & MOVE IN DETAILS***

£900 per calendar month. This figure is inclusive of rent, council tax, utilities, broadband, communal Sky TV, a fortnightly cleaner, garden maintenance cost and collective household bits (loo roll, laundry products, cleaning products, hand soap and various kitchen cooking ingredients).

The security deposit is £900 and will be kept in a Government recommended tenancy deposit safety scheme. We require two references, one from your previous landlord.

You will be sharing the house with Adam who is a solicitor, and Jeremy, a mechanical engineer. We are a gay, left-wing household.

We are looking for a friendly professional aged 28 – 45 years old to share our lovely home. We are currently also advertising for one other person to rent the top floor bedroom of our house - see the separate advert.

After many years of renting and house shares, we were lucky enough to buy the house in October 2023. We are looking for people who are tidy, respectful of the house and are happy to catch up, watch the odd movie and join us for dinner.
