Spacious and bright room in calm, friendly home

We have a room available in our beautiful, spacious 4-bedroom home, just a 5-minute walk from Plaistow Station (District & Hammersmith & City lines). The house has excellent transport links to central London, and Stratford and Hackney Wick are also within easy reach.

You’ll be sharing with two Italian female professionals (a teacher and a midwife). We’re looking for another professional who is tidy, considerate, and enjoys a relaxed, respectful home environment.

We’re friendly and sociable, and enjoy sharing the occasional meal, watching films, or having a drink in the garden, while also respecting each other’s privacy and personal space. This isn’t a party house, but friends and guests are always welcome. We also have a spare room that’s perfect for hosting visitors. We take pride in keeping the house clean and appreciate people who do the same.

We also have a very calm outdoor cat who occasionally comes inside for a nap or some food but spends most of the time outdoors.

The room is spacious and comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside table, and chest of drawers. It shares a bathroom with one other person on the first floor (the house has two bathrooms in total). The house also features a separate living room, a private garden, and an outbuilding for extra storage.

The monthly rent includes Council Tax and Wi-Fi. Utility bills (gas, electricity and water), plus a cleaner who comes twice a month, are paid separately and usually come to around £150 per month in winter (less during the summer).
