Looking for someone lovely to join a cosy, calm home in Plaistow. (The gays, the girls and the theys preferred)
I've lived here for four years and genuinely love it. I'm hoping to find someone who's looking for more than just a room, someone who wants somewhere that feels like home.
The room & house
The room is a bright, good-sized double (3.51 x 2.79m) and is Bedroom Two in the photos (not the circled room!). It's on the middle floor, so you'd have the whole floor to yourself, which makes it feel really private.
It's furnished with a double bed (with a memory foam topper), a chest of drawers, a double clothes rail and has plenty of storage.
The house has a shared living room, kitchen and lots of storage. Lots of plants, books, candles, matcha, snacks and nice calm vibes.
About me
: I'm 32 and work in theatre, so no two weeks are ever quite the same. I tend to work in intense blocks on projects, so I'm either really busy or enjoying a quieter spell.
Outside work, I'm l usually running with my run club, cooking pasta,, at the gym, or on the sofa with snacks. I keep most of my socialising outside the house, my gf stays roughly once a week, but this home tends to stay pretty calm and quiet. Every now and then it's nice to share a a meal or cup of tea, watch the odd programme together, but I also really value having space to recharge.
I'd love to find someone who's considerate, communicative and takes pride in where they live. Someone who's happy having a catch-up and sharing the occasional meal or cup of tea, but equally values their own space.
I'm vegan, so another veggie or vegan would be a huge bonus, but it's definitely not a dealbreaker.
I think this would suit someone who wants the opposite of a loud house and is looking for somewhere settled, peaceful and genuinely homely.
Location
3-4 minute walk to Plaistow Station, The Gym and Co-op
5 minute walk to West Ham Park
Around 10 minutes to Stratford and Westfield
Bills
Bills are included (water, council tax, WiFi, electricity and gas). Council Tax Band B.
I'd also like to keep the fortnightly cleaner. She's £40 each a month, but open to chatting about this.
If it sounds like a good fit, send me a message telling me a bit about yourself, whether you're veggie/vegan, and how long you're looking to stay.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
