Lovely double room available

We have a double room available in our lovely house in Plaistow! We are looking for someone to rent the room from 11 May 2026.

The room is part of a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom spacious house situated in a quiet and leafy street in Plaistow. The house has a cute garden, a large shared living room, a well-equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, and a downstairs toilet.

The available bedroom comes with a double bed, chest of drawers and open frame wardrobe. The room gets plenty of bright natural light and is located at the back of the house so is peaceful with minimal noise. The room is comfortable but compact - best suited to someone who works outside the home, as it doesn't fit a desk. The bathroom is shared with one other tenant and has a sink, shower bath, and toilet.

The house is a 10 min walk from Plaistow Station and roughly 20 mins from Stratford by bus from the end of the road. West Ham Park is only a five-minute walk away and has great running and walking routes, tennis courts and lots of green space.

We’re a friendly household with an average age of around 30. Three of us work from home several days a week, but we all have full-time jobs and keep things quiet. We sometimes go the local gym together or play tennis on Saturdays, and we occasionally enjoy a meal out as a house. While we’re friendly and get along well, we each have our own routines and social lives, and we’re considerate of each other’s space and downtime.

We are looking for someone friendly, considerate and clean who will be conscientious and respectful of others and pitch in keeping the house a great place to live.

The monthly rent, to be paid to the landlord, comes down to £650 which includes all bills. In addition, we have a fortnightly cleaner for the common areas which is currently £22.32 per month, per tenant.
