Spacious double, gay-friendly house – E13

Large furnished bedroom available from 16/06/26 in a spacious, friendly house share just 4 minutes from Plaistow Station.

The room comes fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, bookshelf, desk and drawers.

We’re looking for one person to join a relaxed household of four people in a 5-bedroom house (only 4 rooms are let due to council licensing rules), so there’s plenty of space for everyone.

The current housemates are 2 gay guys and 1 straight girl, aged between 25–45. Two of the housemates have lived here for 12 and 14 years respectively, which says a lot about the atmosphere in the house — it’s friendly, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The girl has her own en-suite, so the shared bathroom is only used by the guys. We all work fairly flexible hours, so mornings are never hectic.

The house has:

- Shared bathroom with toilet and shower
- Cleaning rota for kitchen and bathroom (roughly once every 4 weeks)
- All bills included
- Very fast 100MB WiFi
- Fully furnished kitchen and lounge
- Two large fridge/freezers, plus an extra fridge and freezer
- Induction hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher & Air Fryer
- Filtered water tap
- Lots of storage space

Unfortunately, no pets due to allergies in the house.

Location:

- 4 mins walk to Plaistow Station (District & Hammersmith & City lines)
- Around 20 mins to Central London
- 10 min bus ride to Stratford Westfield
