Description
Double room with en-suite and walk through wardrobe available from end February 2020 situated on the 5th Floor of Waterman's House. Bills are separate but are between £150-£200 per month with the existing tenant managing the costs which are all in his name/account.
Located an 8-minute walk from Canning Town Jubilee line. 5-minute walk from East India DLR. 25-minute walk to Canary Wharf. The flat is right by bus stops which the 115, 309, N551, and N15 service. Co-op, Morrisons, Nisa, The Post Office and several gyms are walking distance.
The flat is currently shared between the 2 of us but I'm moving to Dublin for work therefore the new person will be taking over my tenancy which the site management will oversee the transfer process. The site management also operate as a concierge which is super handy for deliveries/parcels. There is also a free bicycle store in the building.
The flat comes furnished all of which is from Habitat. White goods include a dishwasher, washer/dry combo, fridge and freezer. In the lounge the existing tenant has a 58inch 4K TV with a full Sky package (sports and movies) and Netflix. The broadband is a 100MB/s. Parking is available at an extra £125 per month and there is also an on-site gym which is accessible for a one-off fee – I think it’s £30.
As mentioned the room is furnished all of which is from Habitat. Furniture includes the bed, 2 side tables, chest of draws with the walk-through wardrobe leading to the en-suite bathroom. The curtains come with the flat and are blackouts. The room also has TV access points.
A bit about the existing tenant. He is a 32-year-old gay professional, working in central. His interests are a wide range of sports, movies, music, gaming, and he likes to cook. During the week he’s happy to chill out watching football or a movie. He likes a social drink on weekends but isn't looking to live with a party animal. I have lived with him for over 3 years and he is super easy to live with. He keeps the flat tidy and at the end of the day he is happy to socialise or leave you to your own business. Ideally, he’s looking to live with a like-minded individual with similar interests and is prepared to do their fair share around the flat. He is happy to discuss getting a cleaner if that is something of interest.
Happy to answer any questions you may have.
