• Beautiful Thames views right outside your window
✨ Shipmates
• Jacobus, primary school teacher (+ stop motion animator/tarot reader), also gay 🏳️🌈.

We’re a friendly household that enjoys the community of living on the water — think occasional dinners, films, and deck hangouts, while still respecting each other’s space.
If you’d like to view this unique space, get in touch — we’re flexible with viewings!
This is not the usual canal boat/barge conversion, this is a 550 tonne, historic ship, converted and maintained to a high standard.
Large open plan kitchen and dining area with central heating and a cosy wood burning stove, TV, stereo and complete modern kitchen. Two bathrooms, utility room, loads of storage and a large outside space across two decks, including a seating area.
Nice and warm with loads of light, and all appliances are of high quality: Bosch, Smeg etc. All rooms have electric heating. Fully furnished including plates, glasses, and high quality kitchen knives/pans/cutlery/utensils/coffee machine etc.
None of the usual compromises of living on a boat, and all the perks! The ship has just been equipped with 13 solar panels, though it should be noted we are also on mains electricity.
Unique place to live with all the comforts of a modern house, as well as a large teak deck with great views of the river. Rent is PCM and includes all bills and broadband. 10 mins walk to Canning Town DLR and Jubilee line in Zone 2, decent bus service and very close to the cable car. 24 hour security in a very relaxed and safe area.
The surrounding area (Trinity Buoy Wharf) is home to a great cafe, a new bakery, and the original Container City buildings, arts schools and gallery space. Sainsbury’s, bars and restaurants are all a short stroll away in City Island, as is a Nisa opposite East India DLR.
Would suit someone working in media/creative industry but also very close to Canary Wharf so could be good for someone wanting a little contrast to the sterility - a previous tenant worked in Canary Wharf, her daily journey door to desk took 20 mins. The ship is home to functioning businesses, so the prospective tenant must be respectful of this - party animals need not apply.
Has to be seen to be appreciated fully. Get in touch if you have any questions or would like to see more photos, etc.
Please reply through Spareroom or Email to begin with, there have already been a lot of enquiries and it's much easier to keep track this way.
Best wishes
