Hello,
I'm advertising this room available from the end of August in a 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment in Goodluck Hope (E14). My current flatmate is moving out soon & I'll need someone to take over for the new tenancy as I wish to stay in the flat.
You'll be getting the room with the ensuite, the proposed tenancy is 1 or 2 years, but the landlord is flexible. The nearest train stations are Canning Town & East India, both around 8-10 minutes walking; the nearest bus stop is about 2 minutes away. Canary Wharf is also about a 3 minute drive away.
The Development gives us full access to our Spa & Gym facilities across 2. developments (GLH & LCI) as well as shared co working spaces, a cinema room & a Sky Lounge/Roof Terrace in our building.
If you need parking, there's an underground car park though you'll need to get a permit.
Council Tax Band: F
Currently we split the rent & bills equally and I'd like to keep this going. Bills are usually around £200-250 each give or take. We also have a cleaner come in every other week and I'd be happy for this to continue going forward.
It's a building with a really nice view of the city, the rivers (especially from the terrace, but also from our windows) & a lovely community around if you like to get involved with that sort of thing. There's a Sainsbury's 5 minutes away (walking) for groceries & loads of Cafes, restaurants & bars as part of the development within similar distances.
About me:
I'm a DevOps engineer in the city & I'm in the office 2 days a week on average. I'm quite easy going and sociable, though I also tend to respect others' space & privacy. I love music, film & TV; so when I'm not stuck in my room, you can usually catch me at a concert or maybe out with friends for Brunch/Dinner or something.
I'd like to live with someone tidy, who I can hopefully be friends with over time. I'm happy to have conversations & viewings over the next few weeks so you can decide if this is the right home for you as well.
