The room has stripped floorboards and comes with a built-in wardrobe and built-in chest of drawers, bedside table and king-size bed with Eve hybrid mattress. The room is double-glazed and warm; facing the back of the property, it is also quiet. The room could accommodate a small desk, if needed.
The flat has: a sitting room at the front of the property, with a small dining table; a small galley kitchen and bathroom at the rear. There is also a little garden to the rear of the property (green-fingered flatmate welcomed!).
The building is in a quiet terrace off the Portway, mainly families and young professionals, between Stratford Park (six tennis courts, floodlit) and West Ham Park (70+ acres with 12 tennis courts, football, cricket, running, dozens of PTs etc).
There are a few shops and takeaways a minute or so around the corner but the high street, approximately 10 minutes’ walk, has a much larger selection of shops and places to eat and drink; the Westfield Centre at Stratford City is another 5 minutes further along.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and London Stadium are approximately 30 minutes’ walk; in the other direction, Forest Gate is approximately 25-30 minutes’ walk, with Wanstead Flats another 5-10 minutes away from there.
