Double room to rent in flat in East London.

Hi

My name is Chris and I’m a professional gay male (having done a pandemic induced career change from working in the theatre to becoming a Civil Servant) looking for a flatmate for a nice sized double bedroom in East London.

The flat is just round the corner from ABBA Voyage so a short walk from Pudding Mill Lane (DLR) which is one stop away from Stratford. It’s also about a 10 minute walk to Bromley-By-Bow tube. It’s well located for the Olympic Park, Westfield shopping centre , there Is a large Tesco with in a 10 minute walk. it overlooks a canal which heads towards either Hackney Wick or Limehouse basin.

The flat is a good size with a nice sized open plan kitchen/front room with a balcony which gets great sunsets. There is a large bathroom which has been refurbished with a new bath and excellent shower. It also has a toilet but there is another room with a sink and a separate toilet.

In total there are three bedrooms. The third smaller bedroom is the landlords. They are a gay couple who now live and work in Spain. They return roughly every 2 months and use the third room or it is occasionally used for short-term lets to friends but in the main it is a spare room.

The flat has excellent 1GB broadband and the rent includes all bills except for broadband (£19 a month) and the cleaner who comes weekly and is an additional £24 per week. There is also a concierge for all the flats which is very useful for deliveries.

I’m a pretty relaxed chilled flatmate looking for similar. I’m happy to socialise but also happy to allow people their space and quiet time (and obviously vice-versa) - I’m def not an Alpha male and just not looking for one as a flat mate basically…..

I work on a hybrid basis but with more time spent in the office and would be happy with people who have a similar arrangement. I don’t want to live in an office full time so not wanting people who are working from home on a full time basis.
