Description
I’m looking for a flatmate to join me in this 2-bed maisonette in the beautiful Grade-II listed Brutalist Keeling House just off Hackney Road, with great views and light.
You’ll be sharing the place with me, I love music/sneakers/ architecture/design/photography/art/fashion/food/gym etc…
I’m very clean and tidy and have a love for mid-century furniture, mixed with modern (the flat was unfurnished when I moved in, so have furnished it myself), I’m looking for someone who shares those same values and wants to add to this beautiful home.
This is a LGBTQ+ friendly flat.
This is not a party house (too old and clean for that), but I do like hosting a dinner or two. Bonus if you also like to cook.
I do a mix of WFH and in the office, so looking for someone with a similar schedule or who works from their office/studio and 28yrs+
The bedroom itself is a good sized double, completely unfurnished - so you can make it your own. The room has black-out blinds, built-in shelves in the corner and a large wardrobe just outside the room for your sole-use. There is also a large shared living/kitchen space, with all of the usual mod-cons, bathroom and balcony, spaced out over 2-floors.
•Rent is £950 per month
•Deposit is £950 - this will be protected in a deposit scheme
•Available from 01/10/2024, on a monthly rolling contract - there is flexibility in the move in date: anytime from 1st Oct (rent/bills can be prorated for the initial month)
•Bills: (Council Tax/Electricity/Internet/TV) come to around £200est. per person/per month (varies depending on the season)
•Building concierge Mon-Fri
•Bike store on ground level
•No agency: dealing directly with the owner of the flat who is super lovely & responsive
•Not suitable for: couples, students, pets (sad times)
The flat is in a great location with Broadway Market/Columbia Road and Victoria park all just a short walk away.
It’s also very well connected: a 5min walk to Cambridge Heath station, a 10min walk to Bethnal Green tube and 14min walk to Hoxton station. Or theres a bus stop 2mins away.
If you’re still reading, you are clean/tidy/kind/respectful/considerate and like to have a laugh, please share a little about yourself (or if you have a spare room ad link it).
I’m looking to do viewings next week (flexible with daytime or evening viewings).
