I'm looking for someone to take the master room in a two-bedroom flat in Hackney Wick. It's situated on the canal, with Victoria Park less than 5 minutes walk away. In terms of transport, Hackney Wick overground is less than a 5-minute walk, with Stratford around a 15-minute walk, too. The area is nice, with many cool restaurants, cafes and bars popping up along the canal.

About the flat:

The flat itself is a nice, roomy new build. There are 2 double bedrooms, with the master bedroom (your bedroom) having an en-suite, and another bathroom just off the lounge. There is a large private patio/balcony as well as a gym, bike storage and concierge in the block, all included in the price.

Regarding furnishing, the lounge is fully furnished with a TV, sofas and a dining table. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, pans, utensils etc. The outside area has a sofa and table. And plants. Please look after them :)

The available bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, Emma mattress and ottoman underneath, and a huge built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage space. There is also a desk and office chair. If you need more storage space, there is some available in the utility room.

In terms of bills, the total comes to around £150 per month each which includes a cleaner every month, super fast broadband, an on-site gym, a concierge, hot water, electricity and council tax.

About the flatmate:

You'll be living with Tarek, a 36-year-old Lebanese-Canadian. His finance job keeps him busy between the long hours and work travel, so he generally keeps to himself during the week but is otherwise always down for a pint or two on the weekend at one of the many local breweries. His main interests are sailing, hiking, city breaks, and (unsuccessfully) trying to get back into playing music.
