Warehouse Studio in Hackney Wick

A cosy double bedroom in a recently renovated warehouse in one of London’s most artistic areas of Hackney Wick, the open space offers an eclectic, cosy and intimate space thoughtfully designed with creativity and a carefully curated atmosphere.

Used as an art gallery and art studio for artist Mars Leon, the space is a safe haven and sanctuary.

I am subletting my newly designed and renovated warehouse space in Fish Island for January maybe February (flexible with dates). Please consider you will be sharing the common areas/bathroom with 1 other person.

The space includes 2 bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub, big living room with a sofa with lots of light.

The room available has step free access as it is downstairs and has 1 internal window. It is the warmest space in the house as it has a heater- so its quite warm during winter.

I hold space for mindful 1:1 experiences in the studio so ideally for someone who is out of the space during the working hours of 9-5pm.

A few house rules to keep in mind:

> Please keep the kitchen counters, which are wood, free of moisture at all times. When cleaning, use the cloth hanging in the oven door and only water (with a little lemon, if you have it)—no other cleaning products, please.

> Lights need to be switched off when leaving the space or going to sleep.

> I kindly ask that you leave your shoes by the door when entering and store personal items in your room to maintain the aesthetics of the common areas.

> I’m vegetarian, so I prefer not to have meat or fish cooked in the house.

> Lastly, my art studio is quite precious to me, so please avoid touching any materials or furniture in that space.

This place is located in a creative warehouse community, where we’re all connected and friends, but we’re also very mindful of each other’s spaces. It’s important to be considerate of housemates and neighbours at all times. We usually keep it quiet, and since the layout and living conditions are different from typical London apartments, sound can be a bit more noticeable, so mindfulness of noise and communication are key.
