I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in a two bed flat share.
The flat is large and spacious, open plan duplex with a balcony looking onto the canal.
Located along the edges of fish island, not the swanky developed part but the still industrial and slightly inconvenient part. It will increase your step count or online delivery reliance. It’s 10/15 mins walk away from transport, Hackney Wick/Stratford/Pudding Mill Lane or a very reliable bus or longer walk to Bow Church / Mile End.
A bit about me, I am an interior designer, mostly work in the studio with the occasional day at home. I like a house that's lively, music, shared dinners and the usual after work chit chat about your day, but equally like some alone time. I'm more of a dinner party socialiser than party animal, so twice a year I'll throw one and I hope you'd like to join in. I have furnished the flat it's not part of the let. ..Just to bear in mind if I ever leave, the contract in place is for a totally unfurnished flat.
Bills not included. Budget for £150 pcm (electric/council tax/water/broadband). Council Tax band D. I wouldn’t recommend the place if you are very sensitive to cold and work from home as the bills will sky rocket.
The contract begins 15th Oct, and usual landlord vetting will need to happen and 1yr contract signed.
