Hi, we’re looking for a new flatmate to take over a large double room in our flat overlooking Victoria Park, East London. Available from 17th July 2024.
ABOUT THE FLAT:
The flat is across 3 floors in a townhouse opposite Victoria Park. We have a good sized shared living room and a kitchen overlooking the canal. In addition to the park, we’re a 15 minute walk from Mile End and Bethnal Green Underground stations and also a walkable distance from Hackney Wick and Cambridge Heath Overground stations.
The room is a large furnished double room in the attic space with ample room for storage. Would be great for someone working from home.
Bills are not included in the monthly rent, but usually amount to around £100 per month each including council tax, gas and electricity, internet and water.
ABOUT US:
We both work a mixture of home and office working through the week, but we’re looking for a sociable flatmate who would be up for grabbing a pint from time to time or having dinner together.
A bit about both of us:
I’m Ashley, I’m 30, working in communications for a global health charity. I’m interested in coffee, writing and overbuying nice homeware. Also enjoy sport, working out, cycling and travelling. I'm a Liverpool fan if that's a deal maker/breaker, but will generally watch any sport that’s on!
I’m Greg, a 28 year old originally from Glasgow who moved to London a couple of years ago for my job in the construction industry. I’m really into my music and enjoy going to gigs / club nights as much as I can, as well as dabbling in a bit of guitar playing when I get the chance. I also enjoy watching the odd game of football (Although I have no allegiance to any English clubs, I have developed a bit of a soft spot for Liverpool the last few years living with Ashley!). I also love the odd trip to the pub, and at home like to have a good social atmosphere whether that be chats in the kitchen, or an evening in front of the telly.
