Looking for a lovely warehouse-trained person for a small double room in Fish Island. Preference for a she or they, 25+ and queer friendly. Ideally able to move in 1st September.
Room is a small double on the ground floor which has no windows, I’m trying to organise or a door with a window to replace the current bedroom door though.
Please note that this warehouse is not a party warehouse and neighbours are pretty intolerant to nighttime noises as many work from their units in the day. So if you’re looking for a more ✨free partying✨ space then this isn’t the one for you!
💰money stuff:
*£625 pcm
* Bills included in rent but may need to go up or down depending on usage.
* We will need a deposit of one months rent (£625), and some proof that you can pay the rent reliably (we can talk about the best way for you but it could be bank statements, UC statement, guarantor, work contract etc. but no credit check)
🏠 The unit:
The unit is a 4 bed in a warehouse in Fish Island. It has a large living area with high ceilings. Kitchen is part of the large open area, bathroom has a bath and shower. The community is a fairly young, queer, liberal and creative one who are always happy to help out.
👍 Pros:
*Repaint, drill into the walls, hang your pictures, make your room yours!
*Large living space & kitchen with mezzanine in communal area too
*Loving community
*Will provide sublease agreement 🏠(has been used successfully for getting universal credit x)
*Pet friendly
👎 Cons:
*room has no windows but I’m trying to organise for a door with windows to be put in!
*Warehouses often have ongoing maintenance issues, and not so responsive landlords but persistence pays off

* This bedroom is on the ground floor, as is the bathroom and kitchen. However the toilet and bath are elevated so not great is you need something step free.
* Warehouse walls tend to be thin so you can often hear sounds from other rooms. See less
