Note: if you seen a similar ad to the same place before, it's because it's the same house, but it just makes it easier to respond to people for different rooms by more than one person, so your replies might be seen quicker :)
This is a wonderful, homely three-bed house share, sandwiched between 3 lovely parks, and very good transport links in Mile End. The house itself is honestly a bit of a hidden gem, with lovely neighbours, a kind, responsive landlord that respects your boundaries, as well as all the amenities.
Who we are looking for: a mature female in their 30s to early 40s, who is looking for a very clean, lovely place to call home in the long term. The available date is early September, and no later than 11th September.
Number of rooms: 3 bed. Shared with 2 other people. Bathroom shared with 1 other person on the same floor, which has lots of space to store your toiletries, and a lovely shower with good water pressure. Access to full kitchen, living room/dining room and a lush, well kept garden.
The room: the bedroom is located on the first floor. The room has two large south facing windows, located on the street side. There is ample light and space, a large desk and plenty of storage space for your belongings. The chair, rug and some decor belongs to me - the current tenant, but I'm happy to leave bits and bobs behind at a cheap price.
The location: the house is conveniently located about 5-10 min walk from the Mile End tube station, and 3-10 minute walk to multiple bus stations, which allows quick access to the City, Central London, Hackney Wick, Stratford, Canary Wharf and Victoria Park. The nearest supermarket is Lidl, ~12 minutes walk away. The house is also less than 5 min walk away from Mile End Park, the tree-filled Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, as well as a 20 minute walk to Victoria Park. There are plenty of cafes within a short commute distance, and, if you like being active, the Mile End Climbing Gym, a football/basketball court, a fitness centre and the Regent's Canal are all within easy walking distance.
Other tenants: you will be sharing this home on a joint tenancy with Ivelina a researcher in her late 30s, and Andrea - a lovely professional in her early 30s. We would love to share a relaxed, happy and inclusive home in which everyone respects and appreciates each other, and values each other's privacy. We appreciate our own space, keeping the house tidy and clean, and we run a cleaning rota every 2 weeks.
Why I'm moving: I have found a lovely deal on a wonderful studio to move into and I'd like to use that as an opportunity to explore other areas of London.
Bills add up to ~£140 per month, so total rent + bills would be ~£1k at most. Council Tax Band E. The landlord is not planning to raise the rent any time soon.
Perks: There is a car park with gate access that we have access to, if needed. There is also a dishwasher, a new-ish washing machine, and we're waiting to receive a new oven soon. There's also storage space under the stairs.
If you are interested, please get in touch with a few words about yourself. I am also happy to answer any questions you might have.
