Sublet Dec8-Jan15 Hackney Wick Queer Warehouse

Hello! I am subletting my double, furnished room in a very spacious hackney wick warehouse whilst I am away. There are 13 other housemates, however everyone has different schedules so it feels like there is a lot less.

The warehouse is composed of a mix of creative individuals, working in fields such as journalism, music industry, fashion, students, publishing, science etc. There is a great community atmosphere, with many house dinners or movie nights that you are welcome to join, and everyone gets along well as friends. Everyone in the house falls on the LGBT spectrum, also with several trans* housemates, so is a safe space for a queer person wanting somewhere to stay over the holiday season. A few housemates will also stay for Christmas, and plan to have a cosy Christmas dinner etc - which you are welcome to be a part of also. There is a strong preference for someone that is LGBT, however allies are also welcome to apply.

There is a mix of people that work from home as well as work outside the house, and it is not a party warehouse (there is a cleaning rota, people are respectful of noise especially on weekdays - so the space is suitable for a working professional or someone that is a student / freelance etc).

The room is upstairs, and so it is not fully accessible in terms of if someone requires a wheelchair or has motor issues - however all the common spaces and bathrooms are on the ground floor. There is a big kitchen, large living space, studio space, as well as meditation corner. There are 4 bathrooms - two with toilet/shower, one with a bath, and one small toilet.

The rent is 800GBP per month, including all bills and a cleaner that visits once a month. The warehouse is therefore warm and cosy, with the heating on all the time, and there is an additional space heater in the room. The full period of 5 weeks rent is 1000GBP.

The age range is 23-30, however anyone from any age is welcome.

The general language spoken in the house is English, however people also can speak French, Spanish, Portugese and German and the house is a mix of nationalities and backgrounds.
