The flat is large, light and well cared for, in a well-maintained building with a concierge during working hours and considerate neighbours. It’s a calm place to live, not a party flat.

You’re moments from the canal, with Hackney Wick, Roman Road, Victoria Park and the Olympic Park all within easy walking distance.

Shared areas are fully furnished with my own furniture and are kept in good condition. I’m looking for someone who naturally treats shared spaces and belongings with care.

Rent: £1,100 pcm each
Council tax, water & broadband: ~£80 pcm each
Electricity: Metered and thermostat-controlled. Typically £20–40 pcm each, higher in winter depending on usage and outdoor temp.

The household
This home works best when responsibility and domestic effort are shared evenly. I’m looking for someone who is tidy, organised and used to maintaining a shared space without it needing to be managed or prompted.

I’m Nicola, a full-time creative professional, and I’ve lived around Hackney Wick for over 13 years. I’ve shared homes in many different setups and value a calm, respectful environment where everyone contributes equally and feels comfortable. My lifestyle revolves around work, and resting after work, with occasional spurts of training for a race of some sort.

Ideal for someone who:
- Is self-sufficient and considerate
- Naturally keeps shared spaces clean and functional or sticks to a rota
- Works similar schedule a Mon-Fri 9-6pm.
- Doesn’t work from home

Not really suitable for wfh. Party people. Shift work or night owls.
