Short-term let - large double room Hackney Wick

The flat: The flat is a modern style, two-bed new build, built to a high standard. It has a large open plan kitchen/ living area, balcony which benefits from beautiful sunshine in the morning and evening, underfloor heating, and a built-in Sonos system. The building also has a communal roof terrace and secure bike storage. Plus, the development includes a gym and a 24-hour concierge service.

The room comes furnished with double bed and wardrobe. There is a sofa in the room currently too, but we can look to remove if more space is needed. The room has access to the shared balcony through big glass doors which let in lots of natural light.

Travel: A short walk to the overground station, and 10 min walk to Victoria Park - also only 30 minutes commute to Tottenham Court Road.

Area: Fish Island Hackney Wick has a great local community full of bars, cafes, restaurants and independent businesses. Not to mention cultural institutions such as the recently opened Sadlers Wells East. A stones throw from both the Olympic Park and Victoria park, the flat is flanked by lots of green space.

Flatmate: I’m Beth, originally from Glasgow but have been in London for almost a decade. I work for the Ministry of Justice, but in my free time keep myself pretty busy seeing friends, planning my next sewing project, and mooching about new neighbourhoods.

Tenancy: The room is available for an initial period of ~3 months (until September 1st), with the possibility to extend. It’s currently on the market to sell, therefore there will occasionally be viewings arranged.
