Large room in queer nd flat in Poplar E3 💖

Looking for a flatmate for our queer neurodivergent 3 bed flat in Poplar E3 🌞

£1000pcm very large furnished room available with a superking bed (bedding can be provided free of charge and there will be a brand new mattress protector), built in wardrobe with storage shelves, desk and chair etc.

We have a large kitchen/lounge communal area that opens out onto a balcony. We like to hang out together, watch shows, play board games and cook with friends.
The kitchen has an oven with electric hob, microwave and dishwasher.

There are 2 bathrooms, one very large with bath, shower and toilet. The other is toilet only. The utility room has a washer dryer and inbuilt drying rails.

You would be living with me, Pippa (31) and Tolu (30). I wfh mainly but am in the office 1-2 days a week. Tolu is on a career break and is at home most days. We are both homebody types. There is also my dog Rhubarb who is a 4yo chihuahua. She is a bit spiky and grumpy at first but will love you after the first week - promise 💖 This is a queer femme household and would prefer a similar potential flatmate

This is a very family-style flat, we do stuff together, help each other out and have a local community. If you are having a bad day we are more likely to clean up your dishes for you than nag you about chores! We are both neurodivergent so when things aren’t right we talk to each other and work things out. If someone needs a bit of space and quiet then we just tell each other - no fuss!

Accessibility: Flat is generally accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. If you have accessibility requirements then happy to show around the flat and discuss what could be changed/moved to make things easier for you. I have accessibility needs myself but what is accessible for me is not the same for you etc.

Finances: £500 security deposit with rent to be paid on the 1st of the month. Happy to accept housing/any benefits and familiar with the process. Bills tend to run approx £150pcm inc internet.

Duration: We would like someone for at least 2 months and happy to do long term too. Room is available from now but would like to meet some people this weekend/next week to see if we are a good fit 🫶🏻

Location: we are a few minutes walk from Devon’s Road DLR station. A few stops away is Canary Wharf (you can also walk there in 20mins). There is a direct bus to Stratford if you don’t fancy the DLR. There is a Tesco Express 2mins walk away and we are surrounded by coffee shops, convenience stores etc.

Building: There are multiple communal courtyards and gardens where we are able to hang out with friends. Neighbours host events in the summer and people play with their kids. There’s a cycle storage area and the building has a multi layered system for secure entry.

Dealbreakers: 1) we have a dog, 2) this is a no/low alcohol house, 3) no cats as my dog would cause them undue stress, would consider another dog dependent on personality, other pets very welcome!
