Bright Double Room in Bow (Zone 2) – Women Only

Hi! I’m Minnie (29) and looking for a friendly flatmate to take over my room.

The room is available as a sublet from March to June, and from June onwards it would be available for a long-term tenancy.

I currently live with three other girls (28–31). We’re ideally looking for a female flatmate around a similar age, but more importantly someone who fits the friendly vibe of the flat. Unfortunately no students due to council tax reasons.

The room is a double and comes fully furnished with a desk, chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers, and gets lots of natural light. The flat is split over two floors and has a shared kitchen, a spacious living/dining area, a bathroom, and a small balcony. Please note that the flat is up two flights of stairs and there is no lift.

Rent is £745 + bills (usually around £60–£80).

The flat is in Bow, East London just off Devons Road (DLR), with great transport links. Bow Road (District and Hammersmith & City lines) station is about a 10–15 minute walk and Mile End (Central line) about 20 minutes. The DLR is only a 5 minute walk away, and there are plenty of nearby bus stops as well.

There are lots of supermarkets within walking distance including a Tesco Superstore and Lidl. Gyms, pubs, parks, cafes and Westfield shopping centre (about 10 minutes on the DLR) are also nearby.

We’re all working professionals (NHS/research/charity) and looking for another professional to join the flat. The vibe of the house is friendly and sociable (pub quizzes, flat dinners, parkrun etc.) but we also respect each other’s space.
