Picturesque canal-side setting. Less than 10 minutes walk to Overground and Victoria Park. Modern kitchen / fittings etc. There is 24-hour security, a convenience store and several bars / cafes at the entrance to the block. The private landlord is quick to fix issues and concerned with the comfort of tenants.
It’s a 2-bedroom apartment and you will be sharing with one flatmate – a guy. Quite a lot of the living area is taken up by my home office (reflected in the rental price), but there’s a sofa with outlook over the canal and balcony (great for sitting on warm days). There also a gym area with Technogym cross-trainer (commercial gym type), yoga mat, Swiss Ball etc. There’s no TV and I’d prefer to keep it this way. Note that I work from home, so am around a lot during the daytime, but am often at my girlfriend’s eves and weekends. There is a wonderful cleaner who pops in, but if you want her to clean your room there’ll be a small charge
I am open-minded with regards to flat mates – any age, gender, profession considered – as long as you’re chilled and clean up after yourself. My business involves the arts – so if you’ve a leaning towards the creative we’ll probably get on.
The wireless broadband runs at around 4. 5Meg. It's good enough for Iplayer in HD mode, but if you need something faster we can chat about geting fibre-optic.
Please note that the landlord will definitely call your references and run a credit check on you.
