Double Bed E5 Homerton

Up for grab is a spacious double room in our welcoming, 2 floor flat located in Lower Clapton/ Homerton, available from the 5th August 2025

My name's Dan, i'm the longest tenant here at 4 years. I work as a technician in film and photography as well as produce music. Normally the house has 4 tennants to keep rent down. Right now it's Me (Dan a freelance film industry technician and music producer) Cormac a freelance illustrator, and Sophia our resident freelance music PR expert and journalist.

We don't have a living room, but we have a great kitchen with communal table where we tend to catch up. We also have a brand new fridge and washing machine. Being half Italian and from California I like to cook Italian and Mexican food so if you're not vegetarian you'll prolly get a lot of nice meals providing ur not.

The room itself is upstairs, looking out the Main Street.. It’s spacious and comes furnished with a desk, double bed and set of drawers. There is a lot of storage around the whole flat. It gets plenty of sunlight throughout the day, and our flatmate loved it so much that they spent five years in it! :)

Our Kitchen is very nice and bright, with plenty of natural sunlight and space for a few people to prepare food at once, it also hosted a good amount of friends for dinners. There are two bathrooms in the property, with the main one situated upstairs along with the bathtub.
We also have a large terrace outside the entrance to the property, which is perfect for BBQs and gatherings in the summer

The block of flats has recently completed some refurbishments, and it has a really nice community vibe- it's very friendly and there's always something going on.

Great transport links- a 15 minute walk to Homerton Station, and 20 to Clapton or Hackney Central the other way. 242 bus route stops outside the flats, and there are plenty of good bus routes on Lower Clapton road, linking us to central and Finsbury Park. For further transport links, we are close to Stratford (two stops on overground).

There is plenty to do in a short walking distance, Chatsworth Road is 2 minutes walk, with great restaurants, a cinema, bars, a Coop and the fanciest Spar in the world. Also close to an Aldi, Tesco and Sainsburys.

If you are into music I think we'll have fun, but being clean, on the other hand, is a must. Just clean up after yourself, be respectful, and put a little love into your surroundings and it goes a long way.. I freelance, so sometimes I'm home during the day, and other times you won't see me all week if i'm on set. Looking for

We have the canal, Hackney Marshes on our doorstep. And it's a 20 min walk to Hackney Central, or Dalston. The 242 bus comes straight to our house and will take you all the way to central.

We are looking for someone to move in on the 5th!
