Description
Hi, I'm Dominic, a live-out landlord.
You'll be sharing with my partner, Elizabeth, who is very easy to get on with. Like most people, has sociable times and quiet times. She is a musician with a small studio, and is happy to work on headphones. (And also does some piano teaching, in other people's homes.)
Looking for someone who needs a short-ish let.
(Anything up to 6-ish months, but negotiable.)
And sorry, but no couples.
The flat is right on the boarder of E5 and N16 (just off Northwold Rd.) Stoke Newington is a vibrant (yet chilled) place to be. There are a couple of favourite local pubs. The main one has a great quiz every week, with lots of friendly people!
Re the flat: Off-street parking available (if requested).
The furniture in the photos has been altered just a little but is still easy on the eye! You're welcome to bring anything else you need.
The broadband is nice & strong. (Virgin media.)
There's no TV licence atm as we've never needed one.
The shower in the bathroom comes from a mixer tap, but is actually a good shower. (The water pressure is quite impressive.)
The bathroom is just across a small hallway from the bedroom, so almost on-suite : )
There's the odd patch of carpet (usually near a doorway) that has been scratched at by our cat. It's not that bad really.
I'm looking into repairing it to make it more aesthetically pleasing, but not sure what's available.
When replying, say a bit about yourself, eg age, job, lifestyle, etc..
I'm happy to draw up an agreement with you.
Extra info: The flat is in a block on the 3rd floor (4 floors in total) & there's a lift. The whole place is fairly quiet & well maintained, & all the flats are privately owned.
Clapton overground is a 5 min walk away & is in Zone 2.
The trains are frequent & get down to Liverpool Street station in 10 mins. Or up to the Victoria tube line in 5 mins.
It's on the 106 bus route, & only 5 mins walk to Stoke Newington Common, where there're tons of other buses.
It's a 10 min walk to the marshes and the river Lea. Also in the area is Springfield Park, and (a bit further) Clissold Park.
Thanks for looking!
