Description
** move in flexible through end of October/first week of November**
My housemate had decided to move back to Ireland soon (after spending most of lockdown back there). So just looking to fill the room and sign the lease (formal change of tenant) pretty flexible with the move date as she’s happy to move once I find the right person.
About the flat:
- The flat is located in a modern development on Kingsland Road, only a 3 minute walk away from Haggerston station and a number of bus options.
- 2 bedrooms (both have double beds with a new mattress, side table, and huge built in wardrobes); only one bathroom but it's spacious; large living room with dinning table +4 chairs, kitchen with a dishwasher, and a separate closet containing the washing machine.
About me:
I’m 28 years old from the US.
I’ve been living and working in London for 3+ years. My office is based near Moorgate/Old Street so I have an easy walk/cycle into the office. I’m working from home some days due to COVID, but my office is open for optional working days there so have been going in twice a week. I’m not a huge fan of working from home, so looking forward to going into the office more as my work allows for it!
In my free time, I have the standard youngish professional in east London routine...love a good brunch, going to Broadway market/exploring all the other things to do in the area. Not too much of a home body so usually spend the weekends trying to stay busy and active out of the flat, I try to take advantage of the great location close to London fields and attempt to get practice my not so great tennis skills and have gotten back into swimming at the lido.
I do love to cook and have friends over for dinner and some wine, but of course give housemates a heads up/check before. On weeknights, I tend to have fairly quiet evenings. I (try) to make it to a gym class a few times a week, often cook dinner at home, or meet up with friends for a drink/dinner.
I like to live in a flat that feels like home, so try to keep it tidy all week but also understand there may be nights where you leave a few dishes in the sink so that won’t drive me crazy! Just looking for a flatmate that will be respectful and easy to live with. Not too picky about much else!
If you’re interested, send me a message.
Only additional bills are council tax, WiFi and electricity
