Hi everyone!
We’re looking for a new housemate to join our friendly, warm home in Dalston/Hackney Downs, close to London Fields.
ABOUT US:
You’d be living with 2 women and a NB person aged 26-33 . We are a majority queer and POC household and are looking for people that can add to the fun and safe haven that we have created.
We all enjoy doing things together like going out for drinks/dinner, different events, watching movies, etc, but we also do our own thing and respect that people want their own space. We are friends as well as housemates! Our hobbies vary from finding the best spots to eat to watching a drag/theatre show and dancing the night away. We’ve enjoyed living together for a few years and are looking for someone to make this their home too.
ABOUT THE ROOM:
The room is a spacious light-filled double bedroom and it is furnished with a double bed, mattress, lots of storage space (a big wardrobe and two drawers) as well as a small table, fit for working from home. This room has big beautiful windows and gets plenty of lovely sunlight. The rest of the house is fully furnished too.
The star of this place is a sweeping garden (23 metres long!) with luscious greenery, a wood fire pit and outdoor seating, perfect for drinks and nibbles in the spring and summer! We also have amazing gardeners that regularly landscape our garden as part of the house.

The place is a 3 min walk to Hackney Downs station, 5 min walk to Hackney Central station, 8 min walk to Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations and is well connected by buses.
The house is a 4-bedroom, double-storey place with a kitchen, open plan living area, and 1.5 bathrooms.
The cost of the room is £1110 (£1510 for couples) without bills. We have a good relationship with our landlord and he is very considerate and responsive to anything we need. Bills are around £100 a month (less during the warmer months) and includes a fortnightly cleaner.
The room is available from the 25th of September, though we could potentially accommodate an earlier date. We will be doing viewings on 2, 9 and 16 September. Please drop us a line with a bit about yourself if you’re interested and would like to view the place.
IMPORTANT: As this house is through a reputable real estate agency there are some checks that need to be met. The agency requires everyone to earn at least £29,000 a year. The alternative is to pay 6 months’ rent upfront. The deposit amount is £1932.91.
