Top floor room in Hackney Townhouse

Hi I'm Vicky and I'm sadly leaving the house to go travelling. We're looking for a female housemate to keep the equal split in the house.

The room is on the top floor in our townhouse, with a skylight and tonnes of storage space. It has its own little hallway bit and stairs so feels quite private and separate from the rest of the house.

The house has a shared living room, kitchen, two bathrooms (so you'll share your bathroom with only one other housemate) and a spacious garden. It sits on a lovely quiet road and is only a couple of minutes walk from Haggerston Overground and Kingsland road.

The housemates are Alice (30); an interior architect, Gavin (30); director at a design studio (30) and Michael (31); TV producer.

It's a classic case of housemates having their own lives but we also hang and socialise together- recently we've gone to the theatre, tried out a rooftop sauna and cheered on a housemate at their marathon.

The move in date is a little flexible from the start of December. The room comes unfurnished but we can have a chat about anything you might want, such as the wardrobe, drawers, bed frame and mattress.

Please note the estate agents we rent from require a proof of permanent contract with an annual salary of £32k or more to pass their affordability checks.

The current tenancy expires in May 2025 but we expect this to roll over again as it has during the past 10 years.
