Spacious, light-filled room in E8

Hi! Our lovely housemates are moving out so we're looking for new flatmate/s to take over the available room in our 2 bed apartment in Hackney Downs.

The room is bright and spacious, there’s room for a desk and a uk king bed with plenty of space, and has a wardrobe. Our room has an en-suite so you would also have the master bathroom (pictured) all to yourself. There’s also a big balcony off the living room and a laundry cupboard with washer dryer. Apartment is super well insulated for sound and warmth, we’ve never had to turn on the heat in winter.

The building is smack bang in the middle of Hackney Downs and Hackney Central stations (about 4/5 minute walk to each). We’re also a couple minutes walk from Hackney Downs park and a 15 minute walk to London fields. The building has a gym, bike lockup and a lift! M&S, Tesco, cafes and loads of great pubs all super close by as well.

You’d be living with us (Rose 29 and Josh 33). We’re a couple and moved over from Australia a few years ago. Both of us work hybrid from home/office, Josh is a writer and works in events, and I (Rose) work in TV.

On weekends we like to mooch about the markets and bars around here, and travel a bunch when we can. We’re super friendly and social and love being friends with our flatmates, definitely down to grab a beer or have a movie night, but also love our solo space. We also love our home and enjoy relaxing in the space. Looking for likeminded someone/s who are keen to have a chill home space ☺️☺️

Open to couples or singles (happy to chat about price for a single). Move in end October but can be flexible.
